我們通常把男女之間的愛(ài)情故事叫做“羅曼史”，這個(gè)說(shuō)法應該是來(lái)自于英文單詞romance吧，指一段“浪漫的關(guān)系”。大概因為女性多為感情動(dòng)物的緣故，女性朋友之間還會(huì )存在“閨密”這種關(guān)系，也就是無(wú)話(huà)不說(shuō)的閨中密友。可是，難道男性之間就不能有這樣的密切關(guān)系存在嗎？答案是，當然可以。我們管他們的這種親密關(guān)系叫做bromance。

A bromance or "man-crush" is a close but non-sexual relationship between two men, a form of homosocial intimacy. Coined in the 1990s, the term has historically referred to a relationship between heterosexuals, but the term has gained currency in describing such relationships when one of the men is gay.

兄弟情誼指兩個(gè)男性之間與性無(wú)關(guān)的親密關(guān)系，是“求同”類(lèi)密友的一種形式。這個(gè)詞最初見(jiàn)于20世紀90年代，指異性戀男子之間的關(guān)系，但是后來(lái)更傾向于指代其中一位為同性戀時(shí)兩名男子之間的關(guān)系。

"Bromance" is a portmanteau, a combination of the words "brother" and "romance". Editor Dave Carnie coined the term in the skateboard magazine Big Brother in the 1990s to refer specifically to the sort of relationships that develop between skaters who spent a great deal of time together.

Bromance這個(gè)詞是brother（兄弟）和romance（愛(ài)情）兩個(gè)單詞的合成詞形式。一位名叫戴夫?卡尼的編輯在20世紀90年代的時(shí)候創(chuàng )造了這個(gè)詞并將其用于滑板雜志《老大哥》的文章中，特指朝夕相處的滑板愛(ài)好者之間的關(guān)系。
